Ready to get started? Great! Who was Vincent Van Gogh? Our younger crowd may be asking, who is this Van Gogh person? Vincent Van Gogh, is arguably one of the most famous artists in history, with one of the most visually recognizable art styles. Known mostly for his colorful paintings filled with swirly star-filled skies and undulating sunflowers, Van Gogh produced over a 1,000 paintings and drawings in his short career, which only lasted 9 years. Today the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam allows us to take a virtual tour through the temporarily closed facility to enjoy many of his most famous pieces. However, if you’re looking for his most well know work, The Starry Night, you’ll need to visit the Museum of Modern Art in New York (MoMA). Thankfully MoMA has a virtual museum too!
