Founded in 2016, the Grayslake Arts Alliance is a Grayslake, Illinois based 501(c)(3) charitable organization founded with the mission of promoting the arts through education, participation, and development. Original founders Ernest Schweit, Rebecca Stahr, Janet Elliot, and Donna Bogosh created the business workings of the organization and formed the initial executive committee during the formation of the LLC and creation of the organization by-laws, policies, and charitable classification.
The Grayslake Arts Alliance held a busy 5 exhibition schedule its first year and also had artists showing work in an Arts Alliance booth at the Grayslake Farmers Market. The second season for the Arts Alliance featured shows in November, January, March, and May, with participation in the spring Farmers Market season.
